MISSED LESSONS:
Lessons missed by the teacher at any time for any reason will be made-up at a mutually convenient time for the student and the teacher.
Lessons missed by the student for any reason will not be made-up nor tuition refunded.
However, students who must miss a lesson may switch lesson times with another student (using schedule and telephone list) and then BOTH FAMILIES MUST NOTIFY THE TEACHER OF THE CHANGE.

The Suzuki School of Houston is a twelve month year-round program.
During the summer months families vacationing out-of-town will be allowed either a two-week no-tuition period or an opportunity to make-up the lessons.
Students and parents are expected to participate fully in all recitals, concerts, and workshops available through the Suzuki School of Houston and HASSA
.

GROUP LESSON
Participation in Group Lessons is a vital part of the student’s development. I expect the student to always be accompanied by the Suzuki Parent at Group Lessons, although other members of the family are always welcome.
The parent should always bring the Suzuki Volumes and their notebook, prepared to take notes and learn. Students are expected to attend scheduled Group Lessons and are billed accordingly. I am only interested in reserving my time to teach students and families who are committed to this education. Should you have to miss a Group Lesson, please inform me at the lesson before group or in the case of an emergency, before 3pm on the Day of Group. I have voice mail on my telephone when I am not available, therefore there should never be a time that I do not receive notification before group. If absences are not explained, I take them as an indication of weak committment.
